Preparing for college requires a prayerful approach. Students who plan to attend a four-year college need to begin preparing today. The steps for each year in high school are different.

Choices Planner – Cornerstone contracts with this online career and college planner which allows students to take personality diagnostic tests to help determine what careers you will most likely succeed and enjoy. Choices also provides college comparisons, facts, costs, degrees and a host of other information.
Academic Toolbox – This is a great one-stop-shopping site for everything students need for preparing for college from planning your high school classes to building study skills to choosing where to apply to college and how to write a dynamite college essay. Written by Stanford University, this site has practical information for entrance to any college.
Myroad – This is the College Board’s college and career planning website. This free website offers students tips on applying to colleges, a college search and personality assessment among its many services.

The College Application Process – provided by MIT, this information is addressed to prospective MIT students but offers good advice to help students handle any college application process.
